I grew up in the narrow alleys of Beijing, raised by my grandmother — a devoted Taoist practitioner.
Taoism, China’s native spiritual tradition, teaches harmony with nature, effortless flow, and a deep connection between the cosmos and the self.

When I was little, she would tuck small protective stones into my pockets and say things like, “A child born at the hour of the Dragon should wear water-aligned stones.”

Over time, I absorbed the language of feng shui, the five elements, and the subtle energy of crystals.

Years later, while studying in Europe, I ran a birth chart for a close friend and noticed she lacked the earth element. Following my grandmother’s teachings, I handcrafted a golden rutilated quartz bracelet for her. She wore it to a job interview — and got the offer. That moment lit something in me. Maybe the ancient wisdom I grew up with wasn’t just mystical — maybe it worked.

So I started blending Chinese elemental philosophy with Western crystal energy — and AuraChi Crystal was born.

Now, when I’m in the studio selecting stones and stringing beads, I always think:
